Henri II

Henri II was born in 1519 as the son of François I and Claude of France. He met Diane de Poitiers when he was still heir to the throne, and very soon they were lovers. Diane remained his mistress even when he married Catherine Of Medicis in 1533, who by the way, was very pretty and 18 years younger than Diane was.

He became King of France in 1547. They loved each other until Henri's accidental death in 1559.
