This 18K gold wedding band, dating from around 1700, features a restrained and elegant design. The band is adorned with tightly spaced parallel grooves that run in the direction of the finger, adding subtle texture to its smooth surface. A slender oval of gold rests on one section of the band, possibly meant for engraving, adding a touch of distinction. Imagine wearing a ring with such history for your own vows—a tangible connection to centuries of love and commitment, quietly reflecting the elegance of its era.

Hallmarks
Three hallmarks, two of which are fairly recognizable, certainly 18th century, possibly older:
- A star or flower with five petals, Maastricht, circa 1700 (?)
- A date letter (?), 'T' for 1704 (?) While it is not certain that these are the exact explanations for the hallmarks, they seem to be the closest match.
Additionally, two letters 'A H' are struck inside the ring.
